Once you have tried out the Olympus XZ-1 Digital Camera, you will realize that this camera is designed for all people regardless of their skill level. If taking high-quality images is important to you, this camera can provide you with excellent shots no matter where you are or what time of day. Bundled with the Olympus XZ-1 system is a very fast, very efficient advanced iZukio lens that is sure to please even the most discriminating photographer. A “very bright” lens such as this iZukio will enable you to produce acceptable photos even if you are shooting in a low-light environment. As a rule, you want to avoid taking photos that are distorted or grainy. The Olympus XZ-1 produces photos that have a minimal amount of both of these adverse results. If you’re going to be shooting in low light conditions, there’s a Dual Image Stabilization feature that will help ensure good performance. You can crop a view right in the camera with digital zoom before you shoot and be assured that the quality of the photo will be superb. So, as soon as you learn enough to feel comfortable with the XZ-1, which shouldn’t take long, you will be taking great professional photos and building up your impressive portfolio.
One of the top features of this XZ-1 camera is smaller size which makes portability much more convenient. You will love the size of the camera because it is hand sized allowing you to take pictures with greater control. Whether you’re going on a picnic, or filming your child’s birthday party, this digital camera can go virtually anywhere. On the other hand, it’s not a mini camera either; it’s not so tiny that you can just put it into your pocket and forget about it. Much larger than a smartphone, this camera will be much easier to handle allowing you to take better pictures. This camera also comes with a neck strap so you can carry it conveniently without losing it.
One downside to this Olympus XZ-1 camera is that the battery life, though not that bad, does not last too long. Though some cameras can take 500 or more pictures with a single charge, this battery will last about 300 to 350 images per charge. The battery actually takes about three hours to recharge, so be sure to have it properly charged prior to any important trip that you may be taking. You also have to keep in mind that a battery will only last so long and that replacement batteries are not cheap. These issues, however, are just part of owning a digital camera and aren’t unique to the XZ-1, which actually has a better than average battery life.
There is a lot of good logic to select the Olympus XZ-1 if you trying to find a digital camera. However, you have to decide if you are serious enough about taking quality pictures that you are ready to invest in a camera of this type. A novel camera with very few defects is the XZ-1 and it is for sure one to take into consideration if you are looking for an easy-to-use digital camera.
